We have now reviewed all of the Indy sets, so in stead we continue to look at sets which might be useful for Adventurers/Indy fans. This time we look at the 10197 Fire Brigade. This exclusive set is part of the modular town building line and was released in 2009. The set includes 4 minifigures.

I have ordered one copy, but haven't received it yet. Actually I'm thinking about getting two of these and build a larger fire station. Anyway, I'll get back to the review when I receive it.

Well, I finally received it (together with the 10199 Winter Toy Shop), and built it yesterday.

Like the other modular houses, it's definitely a very cool set. It comes with tons of pieces (2231!). I don't think there's anything bad to say about it really. Personally I prefer European styled buildings over American styled ones, but that's a matter of taste and no matter what you prefer, it's still a must-have set. It has lots of light gray and dark red parts (nice!), an many windows with glass. There's some nice SNOT construction as well. And it basically has full interiors too! Since the building is of "1932" vintage it goes well with the Adventurers/Indiana Jones timeline. If by any means, you're into the modular houses from LEGO, you should definitely consider getting one.

And here it is next to my own modules:
