It's December, but sadly still no sign of any new Indy sets... Anyway, we continue our look at alternative LEGO sets, which might be useful for Adventurers fans. This time we look at 6563 Gator Landing. This town set was released in 1996. It includes three minifigures.

I don't have this set, but it looks a bit Adventurers like with plane, 4wd, bridge and crocodile. Seems to be a decent set.

This set is showing signs of the trend towards 'juniorization.' Namely the very open structure at the end of the bridge, which hardly uses any parts at all. The little swamp boat isn't much either. Plus there are a lot of large pieces.

And there isn't really anything in this set that you couldn't get in other better sets.
