The new Pharaoh's Quest theme has been released, so let's take a look at the new sets. We continue with the fifth set in the series - the 7326 Rise of the Sphinx. The set includes three minifigures: Jake Raines and 2 mummies.

I can't say that I like this set. It's by far the worst set in the Pharaohs Quest series in my mind. I don't like the car at all, and the sphinx is just odd... Perhaps I just don't get what makes it fun...? As for the rest of the series, the figs are nice though, and the sphinx's head is neat too.

I got this set for my birthday, and I must say that it is a great set.
The model itself is poor, but all the parts you get are quite handy for adventure MOCs.
The head of the sphinx is beautiful, and I think I'm going to make a big Anubis statue with this head.

I just got this set for my birthday too. Haven't put it together yet, but it completes my collection of PQ sets.

Put it together tonight. Definitely the weakest of the line. The car doesn't look right (though those new torch pieces are an interesting change) A few dark tan (not seen before?) pieces. But still pretty much a "meh" set. What I want to know is: where are the Anubis minifigures to guard the Anubis statue?
