Hello, My name is Thomas, I'm from the Netherlands, and I hope to make some new friends here.
This is a WIP inspired by the Orient Expedition comic when Johnny finds the treasure map in Marco Polo's house in Venice.
I'm still working on the interior.

Hi Thomas, and welcome to the forums!

Very cool MOC. I really like it, and can't wait to see more. I wish LEGO would make some Venice buildings like this one for the Indy line. The red car next to it looks interesting too.

You're welcome.

Ahh, I don't have the 10200 set, so I thought it was a MOC.

Nice picture indeed. Are you planning on building more houses, or just this one?

Nice work. I'm definitely going to steal some of your techniques in the future.

The little vespa is a nice touch.

What's that blue house in the background?

Steve

Kecia: I don't really know, I have an idea for another house but I have some other ideas too which I want to make first.
Athos: Thank you for your compliment, this foto was made at a meeting of LOWLUG in The Netherlands. The house in the background is from an other builder.
Maybe you can find it (and some other really cool MOCs) if you search 'Wijk bij Duurstede' on Brickshelf.

But now I've got something else for you:

Some oldtimers I made, it's the red car indeed. :D
What do you think?

I think yay! :D Very nice oldtimers. I assume the first two were inspired by the LEGO Indiana Jones game?

yes indeed, the Vespa and the boat in Venice were inspired by the game too.

I've put them on my own website too: http://legoprut.webs.com/orientexpedition.htm
But my site is Dutch, not English, sorry.

Nice.

I've added your website to the Adventurers.dk links page by the way. :)
