Just wondering, if anyone else has tried out Design byMe, and what you think of it?

I tried to design and buy a couple of Microscale models I made. I think it's a really cool concept allthough it's a bit expensive.

Pros
- Design and buy your own models
- Design your own box
- Building instructions included

Cons
- Somewhat expensive
- LEGO Digital Designer can be a bit annoying at times
- Delivery is a bit slow (allthough understandable)

I build in LDD very often, but I use the Universe mode.
There are a lot more pieces but you can't buy them,
But I don't care becouse it's too expensive anyway.

I've never tried it. Its too expensive to buy anything and I've got the parts to just build a model for real.

I tried it once for a little model, but I wouldn't do it again. It is way to expensive! Better you buy the parts on bricklink and build it at home then. I guess you can print the building instruction at home too.

True. If you just want the parts, then Design byME is too expensive, and you should just use Bricklink or even pick-a-brick instead. But if you like having a box with an image of your model and have your name on the box, then Design byME is a fun idea.
