I'm thinking about buying the 10193 Medieval Market Set. Has anyone bought it? If so, what do you think of it?

I thought it was outstanding. If you're at all into castle, then I'd say get it. I've heard minimal bad things about the set and everyone seems to love it.

The houses have some minor flaws (i.e. gaps over the windows and no door on the second floor) but they look great. Plus you get new civilian figures, including two women. Not to mention a turkey and a bunch of fish. Plus two cows!

I'm thinking about getting a 2nd one.

Well, I don't have much castle. Some smaller sets plus the 10000 Guarded Inn, 10039 Black Falcon's Fortress (3 copies) and 3739 Blacksmith Shop. And then I have built a copy of Dan Siskinds Crossroads Tavern MOC. And that's it really... But sounds like I'll have to get the 10193 as well! :)

If you like those sets, you'll like this one. Its somewhat similar to the Blacksmith Shop.

... And it's on it way to me ;)

I wonder if this eventually could turn into a new series of castle buildings, kinda like the Cafe Corner series...?

I have received my set. The buildings are slightly smaller than what I expected, but they look great. The figs are cool. It's interesting that LEGO has started to print the backside of the minifig torsos (Goes for the pirate sets too). I totally love the cows, they are so cute! And all the accessories is nice as well. Great set.
