Dino Island
A total of 17 sets makes the Dino Island theme the third largest after Egypt and Orient Expedition. The Dino Island sets were all released in 2000. It played a big part in me getting out of my "dark age" to begin collecting LEGO again, in particular the Adventurers series. In this theme Johnny and his friend have found dinosaurs at an unexplored island! They try to study the prehistoric creatures and protect them against arch rival Sam Sanister and his fellow villains, who are out to capture the dinosaurs and score big time money. Dino Island is obviously inspired by the Jurassic Park™ movies.
