News from the LEGO Group!
March 12th, 2010

Dear Builder,

On April 6th, we will have our yearly, LEGO® Design byME, palette change. This time, in addition to the general update, we will also include a nice collection of newly discovered, Water-Proof elements from ATLANTIS. Please read more about what goes out and what comes in by following this link. http://designbyme.lego.com/en-us/news/default.aspx?id=168505

For those of you who don't know about us, LEGO Design byME is a service that lets you create your very own LEGO models. Play and have fun on your computer as you design models in LEGO Digital Designer (LDD), our free of charge modeling software. When you're happy with a model, you can upload it, and even design a nice box to complete your masterpiece. After you place your order; we will handpick, produce and send your unique LEGO set to your chosen destination.

We are also pleased to announce that we will be releasing LDD 3.1 around april 1st.

It is an update to the currently released version 3.0 and will be available on the LEGO website and also as an update the users will be prompted and asked to install when starting the current version of LDD.

This is mainly a bugfix release with a few new additions.

Issues which have been fixed:

LDD not starting on Mac OS X 10.4.11.
Unable to start LDD on Mac OS X when using parental control.

Additions:
Improved camera angle selection for building guides.

Better building guides for models which contain minifigs.

Updated graphics for some buttons.
6 new Atlantis starter models in DesignByME theme.
New bricks added to DesignByME.

Best of Wishes & Happy Building :)

Alternative Set Review!
January 1st, 2010

Happy New Year! Apparently 2010 will be the last year with the Indiana Jones theme, which will be replaced by Prince of Persia during this year.

There are lots of Castle sets out there, and some of them might be useful for Adventurers fans as well. Wwe continue our series looking at sets, which might be useful for Adventurers/Indy fans by looking at: 6071 Forestmen's Crossing. Visit the forum to read the set review, rate the set and add your own comments about it!
